An icon from the rich oeuvre of Pininfarina. The Giulietta Spider, designed by order of Società Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili in Turin. The classical beauty of the design is hailed by friend and foe and is worthy of being called art. Despite Alfa Romeo's period significantly better and thicker steel usage, rather than the steel used to manufacture Alfas in the 1980s where the reputation for rust stems from, it remains a rarity to come across a wholly rust free and solid exemplar. This Giulietta Spider is evidently solid, straight and rust free. Never been welded, painted only once. The alloy engine introduced revolutionary mechanicals applied to mass-production for cars at that time, and runs smoothly. The car is original, is for example fitted with the original first brightwork and convertible hood. Whilst the body and floor are solid and rust free, purists would like to see her resprayed, for those who can appreciate tasteful patina a very interesting Giulietta Spider. Sold new in Switzerland where it was driven until recently and maintained well.
