Model history

AC Schnitzer is a German company that specialises in the improving of the not too 'sluggish' performances of stock BMWs. Not by adding a simple wing or sticker set, the company offers seriously designed mechanicals for the benefits of engine power and driving characteristics. A cooperation with BMW Motorsport finally resulted in the development of the, at the time fastest Z4, by using a specially designed Supercharger that raised the engine power with 70bhp to a small 300bhp. To keep all that power on the road sensibly, the undercarriage, brakes and downforce got improved massively. In many stadiums of the development and with many different options the Z4 evolved into the ultimate driving machine. A standard Z4 from the early years was designed for the average driver, for those who want the ultimate driving experience there was the Schnitzer ACS Z4. This exemplar was a.o fitted with a so called Supercharger that improved the power massively, big Mov'it brakes, a sports chassis that lowered the car by 30mm, short-shift gear kit, 19 inch BMW Performance alloys and a wing that should contribute in keeping al that violence on the road. Lesser performance oriented factors, despite not lesser fun, are the digital gear annotation on top of the gear knob and the heavy use of carbon fibre in the cabin. Not just added on top of the original trim, purely added for the saving of weight on the centre console, dashboard and door cards. On the photo's the trained eye spots even more interesting extra's AC Schnitzer fitted. The enthusiastic first owner, that at the time added a €20.000,- to the base price of the Z4 and to set the family Schnitzer to work received a very exclusive and sporty BMW indeed. Now in the almost same condition and with just 82.000 carefully covered kilometres, now for sale for at a substantially more attractive price.

By BMW readily equipped with automatic climate control, heated seats, board computer, electric convertible hood with glass rear window, BMW audio system, black leather, adjustable steering wheel, traction control, etc.

Executed in Black Sapphire Metallic bodywork with no traces of usage whatsoever. This ACS Z4 appears a true, not heavily used specialist car. Not even a stone chip. Self-evidently the car remains damage free. Not been resprayed or tinkered with, everything in truly good condition, nice and original.

The interior too is in exquisite original state. The seats remain in the original shape, supple leather sans wear and tear marks, or traces of getting in and out the car on the bolsters of the seats. No traces of usage on the dashboard, levers or door cards. Neat AC Schnitzer floor mats. The whole interior corresponds with the attractive low milage of the car

Enginecompartment, trunk space, wheels & tires

Evidently clear to see in the engine compartment is the work of AC Schnitzer, the prominent Supercharger spanning the crown. Subsequently there is an extra stabilisation bar installed between the two suspension struts. Also in the engine compartment everything is nicely clean and original. The boot space is seemingly unused. Alloys and tires also flawless.
