In 2004 Maserati introduced the fifth series of the Quattroporte. Friend and foe could agree on the beauty of the design. Immediately titled as worlds most beautiful saloon car by the combined automotive press. Even with the arrival of a new model in 2013, the Quattroporte five as seen by enthusiasts is the more elegant and just simply prettier looking saloon. Sometimes newer is potentially better, however not always prettier. In 2008 after four years of practical experience a few subtle styling cues were added, which were in its turn received positively. Mechanically the car was refined too. A Quattroporte S with enlarged capacity and more power (430bhp) linked to a German ZF automatic gearbox appeared, which proved to be highly reliable. Where the average German premium saloon excels in everything but driving experience, the Quattroporte guarantees ultimate driving pleasure which makes you want to drive to the office as quick as you want to drive home again, hoon if you will.. The slightly more sporty and adjustable damping, the driving characteristics, the wonderful engine note, and the interior which deserves a place in The Metropolitan Museum Of Art, make the Quattroporte the prettiest and most exciting saloon in the world.
The Quattroporte evidently has all the luxuries you find in limousines within the highest segment. This here offered exemplar is a chauffeur-driven car, that moreover sports an interesting list of optional extras to make it the passengers in the back as comfortable as possible. Amongst others. automatic duo zone climate control with separate controls for the rear passengers. fully electric seat controls with memory function, electric and per compartment adjustable rear seats, heated seats, ventilated seats front and rear, electric, sunshades in the back, shaded integrated in the rear doors, Bose Multimedia Auto system with DVD navigation and USB connector, Park Distance Control front and rear, traction control, cruise control, board computer, BOSE speaker system, multifunctional and electric adjustable steering wheel, 19 inch alloy wheels, full interior carried out in Cuoio Sella, electric opening/tilting sunroof, foldable tables in the back, alcantara headlining, etc.
The in Grigio Alfieri executed coach is in undamaged new condition. Not one trace of usage you will find on the car. The paint has a nice deep lustre and the car has evidently been garage kept. The paint is metallic. The car remains damage free. It's probably on behalf of the Park Distance Control that also the bumpers remain completely undamaged. The car salesman would say; 'completely new'
The interior is carried out in Marrone Corniola as Maserati calls it. Very stylish dark brown with beige carpeting. The leather is also used on the door cards and dashboard. The upper side of the dashboard has carefully been executed in this dark tint to prevent glare from the windshield. The dashboard, centre console, gear selector and door cards are all furnished with real wood. Evidently the traditional clock in the dashboard ticks away. Many details like the kick sill trim, cockpit and headlining accentuate the stylish typical Italian Maserati atmosphere within the car. The interior corresponds to the low milage and therefore remains in new condition.
Self explanatory the engine compartment is pure and clean. The 4.7ltr engine in this S-version producing 430bhp shines bright with perspicuously red cylinder heads. Completely corresponding the low mileage on this Quattroporte. Everything is original. Despite the light coloured upholstery in the luggage compartment there are no traces of usage to be seen. Under the load floor one finds the original toolkit. The 19 inch wheels are all four undamaged and wrapped in Pirelli Pzero tires. In the centre of the alloy wheels too, one subtly sees the Maserati Tridente emblem.
Acquired from the first owner. His chauffeur brought the Quattroporte to the official dealer four times to have the car serviced. This can be read in the Maserati service booklet. The original in leather carried out board documentation is complete. The car will be delivered with a new MOT, service and new rear wheels.
