The Mercedes Benz SL series, built between 1971 and 1989, has become a searched after classic. Especially the last series, built between '85 and '89, is popular because of the modern driving characteristics . The flagship model of the so-called W107 series is the 560SL which was only available in the US, Japan and Australia. Unfortunately a US delivered 560SL would have the extended, less appreciated impact bumpers that, to an extent, take away the car's classic appearance. Preference then would be a 560SL that is fitted with bumpers as they were delivered with in Japan and Europe. Appearing a European SL with the velvety smoothness of the 5,6ltr 229bhp strong V8. Additional benefit in this case is the heritage of this 560SL. After all, the land of the rising sun offers excellent circumstances to source a 1987 vehicle in this condition. A left-hand drive European premium car yonder is the epitome of a status symbol, there is often more detailing than driving involved, and when the car is driven it's on road that have meticulously been cleaned. It's therefore I can offer you a stunning and like-new driving 560SL. Not a single trace of corrosion to be discovered. The lustrous paint on the beautiful bodywork clearly shows that the car has been garaged. The interior is wholly original, the undamaged convertible top is original to the car, and besides that the car has been extensively documented. A W107 like no other offers that ideal combination of classic looks without the (mechanical) drawbacks of classic car ownership. The W107 has taken on prominent roles in many Hollywood films, courtesy of her classic good looks. Perhaps she will soon take on that role on your life too...
