Perhaps the ultimate 911, the 3.2 Carrera in the most beautiful convertible version. Just before Porsche decided to nearly revise the whole model, this Carrera Convertible saw the light. This after the people in Stuttgart had been working on perfecting the 911 for 25 years. With the convertible hood open the best car experience in the world... the characteristic engine note coming from the back, the precise steering and impressive torque figure, which one will find to be much more noticeable when driving with the hood down. Few cars offer this much fun and do not require you to be a thief of your own wallet. Since if anything holds its value well it would be an air-cooled 911. The relatively rare convertible from one of the most loved 911 production series is then the prettiest holding. This here offered exemplar ticks all the boxes a responsible investment should comply to. This 911 3.2 Carrera is wholly original, not even resprayed and thus also damage free. The car has a remarkably low and proven low mileage. This is one 3.2 Carrera that stands out from the average selection on offer. Rarely these cars are found to be good enough to be incurred in my collection. This Porsche complies fully. Drives like new.
Not many options were available at the time. Nevertheless this car is equipped with interesting options such as air-conditioning (yet rebuilt to modern R143A standard), cruise control, electric powered windows, extensive audio package, central locking, etc.
Beautiful, original and undamaged body. How she left the factory she more or less still remains. Just the convertible roof was replaced by a specialist, an original Sonnenland roof of course. There are no noticeable stone chips on the car, also the bumpers are unblemished. The car has a nice deep lustre in the Platin Metallic paint on behalf of garage keeping.
The interior is fully in line with the low milage. See the photos, everything in gorgeous original state. The smell in this 911 is the same as she did 33 years ago. Thick and smooth leather, nice and shiny. Neat undamaged carpeting. Note the quality of the diverse switches and (heater) controls. Door cards, dashboard, steering wheel, etc. It all seems barely used.
Good wine needs no bush... see the photos of the air-cooled 3.2ltr engine. Clean, dry and original. All factory stickers are neatly present. The luggage compartment is spotless and original including the complete toolset. Also here all stickers remain. The original Fuchs wheels are very nice and undamaged. Excellent Pirelli tires fitted.
The complete history file comes with the car. A neat milage report was kept and comes with the car. The car has a damage free past, is wholly original and looks like she did in the folder. I have not seen a better one in the last ten years. For one who seeks a truly beautifully conserved exemplar that differentiates by quality, leak free, and driving characteristics an excellent opportunity.
